Honoring Tradition Through
Quilting
Emma’s Legacy was founded to celebrate both the artistry and heritage of quilting. The shop is named for Pam’s grandmother, Emma, whose love of hand quilting left a lasting impact on her family. Pam began piecing quilts in the early 1990s, and over the decades, her skills grew from hobbyist to professional quilter. In 2010, she embraced longarm quilting, and by 2022, she opened Emma’s Legacy to share her craft with our Pontiac community.

Pam is a Quilt in a Day and Eleanor Burns certified instructor, a graduate of Tucker University through Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 Design and an award-winning quilter. These credentials reflect not only years of dedication to mastering the technical side of quilting but also a commitment to teaching and inspiring others.
Honoring service through stitches is a value Pam’s family holds close to heart. She, along with her mom, sister and cousins have all donated Quilts of Valor, each a meaningful way to thank those who’ve served. Pam is proud to be part of the Wood River chapter and the larger community of quilters dedicated to wrapping veterans in comfort and gratitude.

At Emma’s Legacy, each quilt is treated as a work of art. Pam combines precision, creativity and expert craftsmanship to highlight the beauty in every piece she works on. Through professional longarm quilting and custom creations, she ensures every project is finished with the care and attention it deserves.
